Research

My research to date focuses on the intersection of sustainability, Special Educational Needs (SEN), and curriculum reform. I have concentrated specifically on integrating SEN and sustainability concepts into classroom practice. To this end, I developed a Junior Cycle short course introducing students to SEN and a curriculum plan designed to foster sustainable practices. Additionally, I have analyzed the transition from the Junior Certificate to the Junior Cycle, evaluating the impact this reform has had—and will continue to have—on Irish education.
