Sustainability in education
Recently, there has been a significant push toward more sustainable ways of living. In keeping with the modernization of the Junior Cycle, I believe that the art curriculum should also reflect this shift. Motivated by this perspective, I have researched and developed a curriculum project that introduces students to sustainable living through art. In addition, I conducted field research by engaging with key stakeholders and fellow educators to gather insights. My findings are detailed below.
