Philosophy
As an art teacher, I am dedicated to creating a classroom environment that is inclusive, sustainable, and responsive to the diverse needs of students. I believe all students, regardless of ability, deserve an accessible and meaningful education. An example of this, I designed a Junior Cycle course that introduces students to diverse needs and teaches principles of inclusive design, fostering empathy and practical skills that extend beyond the classroom. I am also committed to integrating sustainability into art education, encouraging students to consider environmental impact in their creative work. Furthermore, I believe in the ongoing evolution of education to reflect societal changes and adopt student-centered practices. By bringing these values into my teaching, I hope to inspire students not only as artists but as thoughtful, responsible individuals prepared to make a positive impact in the world.
